| The Croft Historic Rally jointly organised and promoted by Stockton and District Motor Club and Durham Automobile Club Ltd returns to the classic and historic rally calendar after a year’s break (running as Rally 177).
Using Croft racing circuit allows for a more compact and competitor friendly route which will also maximise the use of the circuit for the special tests.
The event will start and finish at The Ship Inn, Green Lane, Worsall, Yarm. The route will be approx 100 road miles.
The event will consist of 3 regularity sections and 12 tests all of which will be at Croft. The tests will be on mainly tarmac, with some smooth gravel. The tests are of the “open” variety, with no reversing, designed to test the driver’s skill and not his/ her mental ability. The lunch halt will also be at Croft Circuit.
The event will return to The Ship Inn for the awards presentation and evening meal.
