Rally Information

Welcome to the second running of the Croft Historic Rally, the start and finish this year will be at Darlington Football stadium and will use the nearby Croft racing circuit and classic North Yorkshire and County Durham roads.

During the event you will be faced with 12 driving tests all held on the circuit and service roads at Croft. These will be on mainly tarmac, with some smooth gravel. The tests are of the “open” variety, with no reversing, designed to test the driver’s skill and not his/ her mental ability.

Between certain tests you will leave the circuit to take circular routes defined by simple navigation. Along the way will be 3 regularity sections. Route checks in the form of code boards should be recorded along the route to confirm compliance with the navigation.

A lunch halt will be taken at Croft circuit and there will be a 2 course meal following the event at the football stadium in the conference and banqueting suite. There is ample room for trailers as well as competing cars at the start/ finish venue.

The total mileage will be about 75miles on OS Landranger series maps 92, 93 and 99, latest editions. The entry fee is £105 and includes 2 lunches and 2 hot meals at the finish.
